How to use Tommy's choice
Dansand® Joint filling sand
1: Start by mixing the joint-filling material with a shovel to evenly distribute the grains of sand. Then pour plenty of it onto the paved area.
2: Brush the filling material into the joints. For best result, brush diagonally and along the line of the joints. If possible, use a pneumatic compactor.
3: Check the joints with a filling knife. If the joints are filled properly, you should only be able to press it a few millimetres into the joint.
4: If the joints are not properly filled, brush more filling material down into the them. Once again, brush diagonally and along the line of the joints.
5: To finish, use a soft brush to ensure all of the joints are filled and clear any excess filling material. Cover and store any excess filling material in dry location for later use.
6: Congratulations! You now have attractive and welcoming joints that inhibit the growth of weeds. Remember to refill the joints as necessary.
