Good maintenance gives better results

Joints filled with weed-inhibiting Tommy's choice Dansand® are easy to maintain. The filling material inhibits weeds between the joints. However, to ensure it remains effective, keep the joints full and soil-free at all times. We also recommend cleaning the surface and joints thoroughly every year during spring.

The harsh wind and rain of the winter season can erode some of the filling material, while wet weather can also lead to the formation of organic deposits on the paving stones.

Clean the surface with an agent designed to remove moss, algae and dirt using a stiff brush.

To finish off, refill the joints to prevent soil collecting in them. Always remove any soil before topping up the joints with filling material.

Remember to top up the joints as much as possible, to prevent soil collecting in them.

A poorly-maintained surface with weeds and insufficient joint-filling material.

Remember always to brush loose soil away from the surface and top up with Dansand®.

Attractive and welcoming paving after cleaning and topping-up the joints.
